Slim hard drives only work with slim models. If you have the phat model, this will not work.

This works on the fat ones also I just tested it on my sons and it works did you have the transfer cable something was wrong with yours because this one I have in my slim and on my fat one it worked on both!!

ok if you use the data cable to hook the 360 slim hdd up to the fat models it will only recognize it as a flash drive and cannot be used to get online because of this if you want i have a cable that i am auctioning off as soon as i have enough credits to set a gin on it that alows you to hook the 360 slim hdd up to where the fat 360 hdd hooks up to so you can use it online

Im confused because I took apps from the console and transfered it to my old xbox it said Transfer cable 298MB Left and I transfered everything from my console to the transfer cable and it successfully transfered it.

Yes you will be able to transfer contacts from hard drive to hard drive because they have the same program on it but if you disconnect your hard drive or if you don't have a hard drive for the fat model using the data cable itself with the slim hard drive will not let you access Xbox Live material because you're using a data cable which the Xbox only recognize as a flash drive

Form of memory now if you don't have a hard drive I have a cable that allows you to hook up the slim model hard drive to where the fat model hard drive would connect to the fat model 360

Hi, I am a little confused. I thought if we had a hard drive for the 360 then the list of original xbox games that the xbox support site posted will work on a 360? If you have a slim it slides in the back of trhe console theres a hidden spot for it I never knew there was a spot but there is and you just slide it in there and they can download every app on xbox and will be able to save more material this is the best for slims.I would tell you to get it because there expensive in any store.
