This is a 3rd generation iPod touch with 8gb of memory. It works perfectly! This would be a great holiday gift for a younger child if you are unsure of letting them have a more expensive device. It has wifi and I read somewhere that you can text other Apple devices with this iPod. There are some scuffs on the back casing but the touch screen is actually brand new. It was recently replaced.

** If GIN is used I will also include the Phillips game play pack shown in the pictures above. It uses AA batteries to charge your iPod when a charger is not available and it also serves as sort of a rumble pack. It fits all iPod touch devices and is brand new still in the original package. I only took it out to test it's functionality to see how and if it works. **
