Description

The listing, Heirloom Herb ✽ THAI BASIL ✽ 15 Seeds ✽ Organic has ended.

This exotic Thai Basil is a beautiful bloomer and useful culinary herb! Thai basil has a distinct, but subtle licorice flavor which is perfect for stir fries and soups. Just rubbing one of this basil's small, delicate leaves between your fingers releases a wonderful anise aroma. The purple blooms of this lovely culinary herb are very ornamental and do not effect the flavor as much as that of the Italian basils. Thai Basil plants are wonderful additions to arrangements or grown alongside your flowers for texture and aroma. Basils are also fantastic natural pest repellents and companion plants to grow along tomatoes. They are extremely easy to care for. I believe the "strong shall survive" in my garden. You will appreciate my motto.

We actually grew these miles away from my house, so it wasn't easy for me to use them for cooking much. There is always next year though. They sure were beautiful in the garden.
