Hi there...Thank you for your interest and your inquiry.....It is similar as it is also considered a green as Swiss Chard and can be used like Swiss Chard ..... this plant is of the Chickory family...... these grow more like a large head ,,,,about 12" to 16" across....I have cooked them and used them in home made breads for pizza greens and everyone enjoyed it....... This is very good in soups and the centers of this plant is very tasty when eaten raw as a salad mixed with other greens or by itself,....I hope that helped you.....Thanks again
