I bought this fantastic quilt from the woman who made it, thinking I'd give it to my 7 year old cat loving niece, but then I realized that this isn't really meant for being dragged around the house by a kid. It's arty and has little sparkles and there are a few places where the the fancy stitching ends and the thread isn't knotted and you know a kid's gonna pull on that. This is meant to be placed at the foot of a bed or draped over a chair or sofa, or maybe used to warm your feet while you read.

It's 46x46, and it's a lightweight quilt, not a poofy one. It's really great; the quilter sold it to me for $50 while her husband stood there shaking his head and saying, "I told her she should be asking more." He was probably right.

The last picture shows the fabric on the back side with its little sparkles, and the closeups show the different fabrics used on the cat side.

The maker named this "The Cat's Meow"--I'm leaving her tag on it.
