1934 set of 10 stamps scott 740-749 ,national parks perforate 11,mint{mnh},with no gum---these stamps are in very fine to extra fine condition--if the bidding goes over 7500 credits ,i will include a bonus item ---your are bidding on a great set already set in mounts----free shipping --this is from my personal collection
Hi john ralph -thanks for your comment---but ,however you are not correct--in the 1930s postmaster farley issued special perforated sheets of this set and gave them to his friends.thereby creating a stamp issue that would go up in price.to offset this, the govt issued a slew of these stamps, perforated without gum to offset this situation---the stamps are mint, perforated,no gum ,not hinged
fact is i am right !!lol, lol, the ungummed stamps were not perferated , thats what makes them special , the postal service reissued the ungummed ,unperferated stamps ,, ,farley issued unperferated and ungummed stamps to friends & president , and signed them too ,thats why reissued unperferated , this is fact , p-lease read about it , stamp # were 756 thru 765 , the stamps farley did were unperfed. thats why they reissued them unperferd. , the only perfed , unglued stamps were #752 & 753 .not being a dick , but i know i am right , if you want me to send you the fact sheet i can ,
john -you are absolutely correct-got my terminology backwards with farley--also i realized that i said mnh---it should have stated-mng--i am so use to using mnh--because the vast majority what i auction is mnh---that comes with the aging process --i appreciate it-your keeping me mentally sound---ps -i have a nice one coming up this evening again--thanks for past purchases any future ones-my hat off to you
i did lots of deals with you befor and plan on more , but i just want to tell you so you know whats up , i can send you the info if you want , no problem ,
