One of my last auctions before Christmas....Perfect for the guys or girls who are geology buffs or who like something a bit different.

This is a genuine crinoid fossil gemstone ring set in solid copper with etched details on the side. Ring is a size 8.

Crinoids are marine animals called sea lilies...very similar to starfish. They used to be very common. These fossils are about 300 million years old. The round parts on the stone are the cross sections of the crinoid stalks.
