Up for bid is 20 seeds from my ashwagandha plants.This is a nifty herb that I just had to try my hand at growing this year as the powder made from the roots is said to have (and been used by ancients) anti-stress, anti-anxiety and anti-cancer properties. To boot, the berries can be used as a renet (stuff that makes cheese hard) substitute for those who limit the use of animal products. First year roots can be used but these plants grew so fast from seed that I will plant out a second batch this year and harvest the ones pictured this coming fall so that they are staggered. To use this herb the root is ground down and then placed into capsules our steeped in your favorite tea (Camomile and honey for me).
