No, if there were, there would be no shadowng. These are a very dark grayish/black, but mostly black.

I got a stand a few years ago w some great flash to them but they err not cheap and were all faceted too

You get the great flash from the faceting. These are not faceted beads, these are plain round beads. You will always get a flashier picture with faceting. Additionally, these are "Natural", they are not dyed or otherwise altered in any way. If these were faceted, you would have been able to see the faceting in the photo.
