The listing, Coleus Forskohlii (Plectranthus barbatus) 15 seeds has ended.
From Madagascar-It has a lot of medicinal uses. Grows long stems in huge abundance of aprox. 10" spikes of electric blue/purple flowers, small flowers but when it blooms, it is so abundant the color stands right out. From the mint family, lime green leaves are thick and fleshy. Flowers from fall to spring. Perennial in zones 8 to 10, easy to grow as an indoor house plant for colder zones. Full or partial sun, rich soil and average water, grows well in containers and cuttings are easy also, just pick off a piece and stick in soil and it will re root well. I had this growing all summer last year in a container and it's still doing well but what I have learned is after it has grown it's full potential (fast grower) aprox. a year, it will die unless you take cuttings or start from seed all over again. Would look really nice if grown with salvia and brugmansias. Grown for the roots, young stems and leaves if used for medicinal purposes.
