Pardon me, is it the sunflower or the artichoke? I want to see a picture of the actual artichoke that you are selling the seeds to, if that is possible. I like sunflowers, but if i am bidding on sunflowers, that picture would be just fine.
Hello, Is this Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) or Helianthus Tuberosus (Jerusalem Artichoke). This picture appears to be of H. Annuus with a large seed centre.
absolutely love these flowers! So pretty. i have gotten other seeds from you and always a pleasure. Exactly as stated and fast shipping! Watching this auction! a woman can't have enough flowers. lol
This is my signature flower. I try to grow sunflowers every year but the first year I grew these, I fell in love! I have it as wallpaper on all my electronics and if it wasn't Christmas, it might be my profile pic as well. One of my pictures I took has a bee sitting on the center. Some may consider that a flaw in the photo, but I love it. Watching and fanned.
Hey shirleybill**** It is a sunflower And For That Matter So is a normal Artichoke but The Artichokes you eat dont fully Develop, and leungkamanbbc**** I dont think this is the tuberous ones because those are almost always yellow and dark orange. While you can collect seeds from the Flower in order to grow the plant and the tubers I highly doubt that these are the ones that taste like pecans or walnuts. I think you might have a blood-root plant here. Still extremely valuable but its no Jerusalem Artichoke!
