This is a beautiful miniature portrait. Portrait is in fabric - a reproduction of what I believe is a Thomas Gainsborough 18th century lady.

Front is excellent condition. Frame is metal. Back of frame is so-so condition (see photo). Portrait is not securely held in frame - you may want to glue it in.

Makes a beautiful addition to dollhouse decor or other.

Item's age unknown but I've had it a long time and it came used. (It is NOT from the 18th century though - I'd guess early-mid 20th century).
