this is brand new. bought it for my pooch but he seems to be a bit to big. he weighs about 11 lbs. and it is a little to tight for my liking. so i imagine it would fit a 8 or 9 lb pooch just fine. still has the tags on it. i'm thinking it's a small.

i put the measurements on the listing. thanks for asking. it's 11 inches on the back and 7 on the belly from the neck.

bottom of neck to end of shirt on the underneath is 7 1/2 inches...from top of neck to end on back is 11 inches. hope this helps:)
