Of course they all represent different things and they have meaning in our lives and dreams. On the medicine wheel, we have birds and animals that represent our totem spirit, our birth totem, ect. according to the time of year of our birth. Armadillo was used by the code talkers in WWII to represent the word tank, for instance. Turtle represents wisdom and longevity, fidelity and more. Good answer? Thanks for your interest, my friend!
