its not loud but it makes a little noise it spins around to file down the nails.

its safer than clippers you dont have to worry about cutting them to short.

i have one too take work good on a dog that dont mind have there toes nails cut. i got a 125 lab boxer mixed i saved from pet smart and i have him scared to death of having his nails cut.

it will work if you can hold him down lol safer you wont cut them if they jerk away.
