The listing, MEXICO STAMP SET, REPRO'S has ended.
Beautiful stamps! I will send item when I receive payment on shipping. Not sure where you're from but where I'm from, shipping cost has gone wayyy up so if you think whatever I list for shipping is too much, I understand if you don't bid! If you'd like to add tracking/confirmation, please add .85 and let me know that you're adding it to shipping cost.
Thank you!
Questions & Comments
The stamps that I can see whole images of are: Bottom right: 1950-52, Blue-gray, 1 PESO, "Dance of the Half Moon", airmail (Scott #C195); Center: Green-olive, 30 Centavos, "Symbolic Flight", airmail (Scott #C96); top right: 1934-35, 20 (veinte) centavos, "Eagle Man", airmail (issued in 2 colors | Scott #C68a - brown carmine or #C68b - lake); Far-left: 1935, Violet, 10 Centavos, "Cruz Del Palenque (Cross of Palenque), (issued in 2 types | #712 on watermarked paper - 156, and, #712a - un-watermarked [rare and valuable if in unused/unflawed condition] – NOTE that this same stamp was issued from 1934-40 in Dark Blue (Scott #711) and because photos, scans, and monitors are unreliable for color representation, this could be any of those stamps. Hope some of this is interesting and helps.
The reason I put repro's is because I was covering my butt, so to speak because I didn't know if they were real or not and I know how people are when you put something genuine on any of these sites, you better make sure you know it's real lol Secondly I have asked many times in the past to stamp collectors, if these stamps were real or not and no one wants to share info without getting paid lol So I thank you for your very informative information.I have tons of stamps I will be putting online and won't put reproductions again lol I have some really old ones I obtained from someone I cleaned their attic out once a long time ago and those stamps have just been sitting in a box for years!
Hi, The only reason I put that is to cover my --- lol People are so picky about whether things are real or not, Since I wasn't sure and I just collected these as a teen, I had no idea if they were actually real or reproductions. Okay if they're real, are they worth anything or just pretty to collect? Thanks, Cindy
