That's why I said please mate, it's not a demand, read it fully and don't be so quick to complain and correct. You have 9 Feedbacks, I don't think that makes you a moderator. Asking people to doesn't go against the rules, demanding or you will loose your credits is!!!!! I don't like being snippy but that was very rude!

Do you need to pay for a service or is it all just programmed in or what?

There is no service fee, this works off of the GPS satellite system. I don't want to type how the system works but it's a system put up by the military and was made free for public access by G.H.W. Bush. The GPS has some reprogramming of maps and it reads out your location by a verity of systems. This isn't a turn by turn direction GPS but a professional style for land navigation, sea navigation, location services, rescue needs and location needs. Does that answer your question?

I agree about clothes it might need to be there due to alergies. We are a smoke free home but there is smoke in combat so that's hard to avoid.

So its like a navigator not a gps or douse it say gps?
you punch in a zip code or mile marker and state it will point out like hospitals eateries shopping and exits

I wouldn't put GPS if it wasn't GPS. This is a professional GPS and not for the average person who only knows how to use addresses or mile markers. You use lat. and long. or grid coordinates to punch into it. It's for those that Geo-cache, Hunt, hike, fish, trail ride and so on. It is not the GPS that people think of as turn by turn navigation. The one is the absolute real thing. It is not a navigator like you think, it is the REAL GPS just like the ones used by the US Military. As a matter of fact that is why this one was purchased, so I could use it in combat. Find out more at the link I am including. I hope this answers your questions. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=173&ra=true

LOL, no problem, I sometimes feel snippy when I explain things but to be honest sometimes I just don't know how to simplify things because I've worked with this stuff so long I don't really know a way to explain things with out being too technical. Glad you understood and you have a wonderful night as well.
