This magnifier is not new, but works fine. I can't use it because it interferes with my contacts. I'm not sure of the magnification but its at least 3X to 5X...it has 2 alligator clips to hold your item (one has a little rust spot on it as you can see in picture 2) and both the clips and the mmagnifier swivel and can be moved to suit you. it weighs a puond or two, so its sturdy on the table. The magnifier needs 2 be tightened up a little. It's a bit loose, but it doesn't fall out. There's no light on this one, but before I got my contacts, it made everything a LOT easier!!Sorry, I cannot do free worldwide shipping on this one...I feel bad, but its just too heavy.
