Description

The listing, 1776 the Musical POSTCARD circa 1969 has ended.

"1776 is a musical based on the events surrounding the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It focuses on, and partly fictionalizes, the efforts of John Adams to persuade his colleagues to vote for American independence and to sign the document." It premiered on Broadway in 1969, and this postcard is from that era.

This card is from when the play was at 46th Street Theatre. Closed in 1973, it was converted into retail space as a furniture store. So the card is between 1969 and 1973.

In the stamp box it says: Write message and address. Give to usher. We will stamp and mail. Excellent unused condition.

If you should win 4 or more cards this week, I will include an extra one of my choice, as a bonus
