you see it is like a cassette, so you insert into your car's cassette player so you could listen to your itunes, mp3 through your car speaker. You insert the audio cable to your ipod or mp3 player.

So you insert the cassette to that adapter to listen to an mp3 player or the adopter is the one inserted to a cassette player to play music from mp3 player.....?

You insert this cassette adapter to your car cassette player, and you insert the audio cable of this cassette adapter to your mp3/ipod audio jack (Headphone jack), now the audio from the mp3/ipod will pay on your car speakers.
