how thick is it like would it work as a jacket in snowy climates?

It's a light weight coat. Suitable for a some what cold night. I live in the South so I've never used during snowy weather but I've been in 30 degrees with a long sleeve shirt and it did the job.

Fanned, really like the peacoat..just not my size. I am from Baton Rouge and have family and friends there still. What area do you live in? I want to come back when the crawfish are in so I can pig out. Not sure when they are cheapest. Thanks and good luck on your auction.
