This is a large leather bound Webster's Dictionary and Atlas. It was made in 1937. The condition is excellent -in fact the pages are really nice white color. The size is very large, and the atlas pages are beautiful.
Printed on the spine and a couple of times inside is the phrase "This dictionary is not published by the original publishers of Webster's Dictionary or by their successors". There were two volumes sets copyrighted by The World Syndicate Publishing Co. in 1937. This one of the set is gorgeous, in good vintage This volumes would be lovely on a side table or on a library shelf. They would also be perfect for altered, collage or mixed media art projects. Each book measures eight and a half by a tad over eleven inches and are over two inches thick. There are forty-four pages of maps and a;most two thousand dictionary pages. A really beautiful Vintage book. Flat rate shipping will apply as this is really heavy.
