No ... and please read ...
MOST of the Euro charms you see on Listia marked 925 on the cores are ♥ NOT sterling ♥ cores ... they are ONLY sterling if they are also marked with a brand name, such as Pandora (it's a little crown mark, on the core). Many Listia sellers do NOT realize this and believe their charms have sterling (i.e. 925) cores.

The reason is that the Chinese sellers stamp their silver PLATED cores with 925. I don't know HOW they get away with this, but they do. I'm seeing fewer of those when I shop for charms, so maybe that is slowing down.

But my charms, and most other Euro charms on Listia, are NOT sterling cores. The expensive brand-name beads have sterling one-piece cores with a screw in the center, most costume jewelry quality charms have two-piece cores, no screw~sometimes silver plated, sometimes not.

Having said that, the cores don't show on your bracelet. And I think these "cheap" charms look JUST as good as the expensive ones. Winning these costume-jewelry quality charms lets you collect a BUNCH, so you can have several bracelets if you want (which would cost a fortune if all the charms were brand name).

Honestly, I don't know. If you have a sterling bracelet, you should be able to polish it and return it to shiny like new. A silver plated bracelet may eventually wear, whether you are using expensive charms or costume jewelry charms.

I have ♥two styles of bracelets♥ on Listia, both silver plated and very pretty, as well as a BUNCH of new charms. If you want to have fun and wear a stylish bracelet that doesn't set you back by hundreds of dollars, get them on Listia!
