does it come with instructions on how to plant?

I have 2 of these, Brand new in the original box. I opened the box just now and there are no instructions.Its basicly the same as growing potatos in a mound of dirt except you plant them in the bag and it doesn't have to be outside. I have used one of these before and its really simple actually. Sorry There's no instructions tho :)

what are the dimensions of the bag and how much dirt is required to fill?

I measured the bag and its approx' 18in X 20in.. as far as the amount of dirt, I have no idea but to Questimate it , I'd say a 5 gal Bucket size. I hope this helps, I've honestly never used this ..
