The listing, Fuji Fujifilm S5200 Digital SLR has ended.
Used Camera. I have used this 5.2 mp cam for about 3 years. Love this camera but have long since moved on to professional equipment. Still takes great shots and still outperforms many of the more recent 12 mp cams because its a true 5.2 mp sensor, not a 3.9mp interpolated to 12mp like almost all point and shoot cameras. 10X Zoom. Has Manual modes for shutter, manual focus, aperture configurations.
It has a static lens with threads on the cap end so that you can screw on and use add on lenses and filters. These add on lenses and filters are very inexpensive. Search Ebay for "lens S5200" and you'll find many - telephoto, wide angle, fisheye, etc all for around $20 or less. Hoods and filters just a couple bucks.
I suppose it's not a true SLR since there is no mirror reflecting (the R in SLR) what is seen through the lens. But when looking through the eyepiece or at the rear display you see a direct feed from the sensor of the subject THROUGH the lens so its the same thing, just not technically an SLR.
Also shoots video.
Takes 4 AA batteries (not included)
I have the original box and cables but not the CD (I don't think but I'll look again) and I can't find the book but it is available in PDF at the Fuji web site.I can provide the link if you ask but Listia won't let you put a link in this description.
Comes with a 1GB chip which will store a hundred or so shots before you have to import to your computer. I'll also throw in a USB card reader for the XD chip.
Very well taken care of. Its the camera that I used to carry with me everywhere for those times when you wished you had a camera.
Still sells on Ebay for around a $100.
