the laser DID work fine but the door broke off so it cant eject anything, also if you somehow open it maybe there is a game in there i am not sure if a game is in there or not hope this helps

Question: since you said there might be a game inside, have you tried playing it the way it is right now without ejecting whatever's in there? On the browser screen, does it give Disc Read Error, or just act like there's nothing inside?

i have tried but i it said disc read error and it also acts like nothing is there im not sure it was such a hassel to connect everything cause i have a lot of electrical cords so i really cant find out but everything will work fine except for the slot where the disks go cause it is broke hope this helps

Disc Read Error means that there is a disc, but for some reason it can't be read - usually due to laser problems. Depending on exactly where the door is broken though, that could just be what's causing it.
