Another stunning piece from the 40's.. The workman ship on this is beautiful..This is strung on string not nylon...The necklace is 21" long from top to ends of dangling beads. The Necklace part is 4 rows of beads that are sewn so uniquely it looks like a Pearl Rope. The 3 Peals at the base are 10 mm on the large and 8 mm on the other two. This is in excellent condition. Well , rats I answered this & guess I forgot to press reply :( No there is no clasp, but from owning other jewelry..many pieces originally had paper labels. I can say the beading is very tight and the pearls are not a lesser type that will flake of easily..This was definetly hand made but by someone who was highly experienced..Many factories made jewelry..where there were factory workers who did intricate work ..and deceided I might be wrong about age..It really looks like a Roaring 20's piece..lol Thanks :)
