This paperback copy was published in 1988. An in-depth 127 page biography into the life of a man who many considered "The wickedest man in the world" and who even referred to himself as "The Beast". Includes many, many photographs, some very rarely seen outside of a book like this.

Considering this is 25 years old, it is in amazingly good condition with all pages in tact. There is a little yellowing on the edges but all the wear is visible in the pictures. Someone wrote "Bradley" on the top and "3_50" on the first inside page, but other than that, I don't see any other marks. The photos can attest to the current condition as they were taken just a few hours before this listing.

For anyone who is interested in the history of Aleister Crowley or is just curious about the dark side found in certain aspects of humanity, this book will definitely enlighten you. It might even leave you with more questions as to how anyone could be as diversified and committed to evil as the man who was "a poet, writer of the vilest pornography, practitioner of black magick, sexual athlete, mountaineer, traitor, big-game hunter, chess expert, drug fiend, corrupter of souls and Prophet of a New Aeon" among other things.

Book is a nice size for a paperback - 9 3/4" x 7".
