iPhone 3G It is At&t only. If anyone know's how to unlock them, so be it,but for now It's as I said AT&T.. I had it updated from AT&T. I think the iso is 6.0.1 or 6.1.0?? Can't remember. like i posted in the pictures. this iphone is @ 6.0.1 visable in the pictures. No.. the phone screen is not cracked..

What does it mean when it's locked though? It still works? Just only with AT&T or free wi-fi in hotspots? Does that just mean you can't switch carriers? That doesn't mean that you forgot the password and nobody can get on it now, does it? Sorry, I'm not up to date on these things, but I want to be. That's why I'm trying to get one.

This is on AT&T network,but It will work for Internet on a hot spot without activating it. But some people know how to unlock it from AT&T to work on any service. Locked mean's only can be used on AT&T network. It is a 3GS & I have been told that it is better than just a 3G... It work's fine. without activating it,for Wifi..

Can you change the name of listing? I've been looking for a new iPhone but besides wanting a 5 or 4 the bidding was over my head! But the 3s has a lot more options and upgrades than just the 3. If you can you should, it will make a difference. Best of luck to you! :)

Seriously, update you auction telling people it's a 3GS. It does alot more than the 3G. For instance the 3G can only use iOS 4.2, your can be updated to iOS 6! Just add it somewhere, you'll get lots more bids belive me. : )

Also it runs on 6.0.1 and if u don't have a SIM card n want to use it with WIFI u can with out the sim that's what I did before I got my iPhone 3GS unlocked and now I'm using it with t-mobile ;)

The iPhone 3GS is 8GB, u can use WIFI with it also u can unlocked like I did with my iPhone, and if it AT&T u can unlock to t-mobile n AT&T only sorry can't use for Verizon or sprint and other just AT&T n t-mobile I hope this help F & W
