FREE: Vintage Jazz Drum Brushes

Here is a pair of all-metal vintage or antique drum brushes. Not sure of year - I've had them a looong time, and don't even remember where I got them.

They have the name "TIMIS" engraved on the handles. In doing an internet search, I couldn't find anything related by that name.

These brushes came to me with the bristles very rusty. At one point I cleaned the rust with vinegar. Please note, there is extensive corrosion and finish damage to the metal on the handles.

The bristles are retractable via a pull down level on the handles, seen in the first and last pictures. The last picture shows the bristles in retracted states. Mechanisms work good.

I don't even know if anyone would want these old things, but perhaps there's a jazz drummer out there in Listia-land who would have an interest.
