Description

The listing, GEMSTONE BONANZA!!!!!!! has ended.

Someone asked me, "Evey, when you gonna have another Gemstone Auction", I aim to please, so here ya go :)
This Lot has something to tickle everyone's fancy, or at least I hope so, lol.
First there is the 100's of carats of cabochons, that includes a variety of agate, jasper, quartz, tigerseye and some I forget.
A strand of beautiful cultured genuine pearls, great luster :)
Then the faceted and fancy gemstones
They include, Topaz, garnet, opal, amethyst, ruby, sapphire, emerald and the gemstones in the last 2 pics alone are worth over $200 loose.
A thick slice of watermelon tourmaline, top AAA quality and a buff top Dendritic Quartz, so there you have it.

Sorry, but the watermelon tourmaline alone is worth over $100, the dendritic quartz is 12 carats alone and is worth $40, the remaining faceted stones are over 36 carats and that is another $100, not to mention the cabs, so my starting bid is more than fair, it is what a $25 gift card goes for.

Oh, the cabs are over 600 carats and the watermelon tourmaline is 7 carats.

Well, I will be glad to inform you so you will know, tourmaline grows in prismatic and columnar crystals and belongs to the belongs to the trigonal crystal system, the tourmaline I am offering is a slice from a columnar growth, what makes this tourmaline slice I am offering more valuable is that the color is very uniform, the columnar wall is intact all away around, more rare than watermelon tourmaline that is bi-color or the column going from green to pink. Actually my price is conservative and is a wholesale price, rather than retail.

I actually mentioned my son loves these, he's only ten and something attracts him to these. My son has MILD Aspergers Syndrome but I can say I am the luckiest mom in the world, he's made me a better more compassionate person. I think I want these for him :)

It warms my Heart that he loves gemstones, I was 5 years old when I got my first one, it is a long story, lol, but I used to go rock hunting and fossil hunting I was a Tom Boy Nerd, lol. Gemstones fascinate me, they leave me in awe of Nature :)
