sorry i also forgot to put the sims deluxe edition will only work for administration or power-users on windows xp, hope this helps a bit.

So Are You Able To Play It On Windows 8 Or Not? *Not Sure What Administration Or Power-Users Are* But If The Game Only Allows A Select People To Play It, Then I Don't Think I Can Bid On It (Even If I Did Bid, I'd Have Horrible Trouble Setting It Up,) Making It Compatible, Finding Out How To Be A Power-User, Downloading It, Setting It Up, Something Always Goes Wrong For Me :'( Guess I Just Can't Ever Have A Sims Game....

im not sure what that means also i just read it in the instruction booklet. but all the years i been playing it even now, cause i have alot of them from when i was a teen, i never had problems installing it or even playing it, im not sure about windows 8. it does come with the instruction booklet inside the case,.
