The listing, Vintage Military??? Buttons has ended.

I am not sure on these buttons... could they be old military buttons??? This is what I can read off of them... SPESXNOSTRAXESXDEVS ???? These are metal buttons with two different type backs.

I am going to be listing 25 vintage button auctions. I wish I had the time to describe each auction but please refer to pictures and ask any questions or comments you might have. The shipping on these auctions will be as follows:

esx devs spes nostra "God Is Our Hope". I looked the word up. It said Hessian soldiers used to have those buttons on them during the Revolutionary War. But these could be 20th century reproduction where they use them on sports coats and jackets and such.

Why Thank You for taking the time to look it up.I find them very interesting. Over 75% of the buttons that I have up for auction right now came from an E-Bay auction I won. They were supposed to have came from an old house being torn down in Conneticut.... I kept a lot of them... and I found some really nice ones.... so at least there is a little history behind these buttons and the others I have posted.
