It is digital. It takes a USB cord to hook up to a computer to download your pictures onto the computer. I will check about the SD card slot and get back to you.

It doesn't take an SD card but it's supposed to store a lot of pictures.

It displays the pictures but not real great. It has a small screen. I've never printed any pictures from it.
