Honestly I am not sure. On a leather jacket with regular daily use it was around 2 years before it needed a touch up but I DID use a sealant on this so I would expect it to last longer. Wish I could be more helpful but I havent tested one for very long yet.

Hmmm I am not quite sure. I looked at fabric paint but not sure how that works on leather. A long time ago I painted a leather jacket and just added a few drops of baby oil.

Just got a great new artistic wallet recently but it was stamped leather Mayan designs not painted I like the idea Painted hats like ball cap style are getting popular if you are into trying to make those people wear n buy them especially if they are unique good luck someone will enjoy it for sure!' :) What kind of paints do you use for this by the way is also what I wanted to ask?

Oh nice! I was actually looking into burning tools for leather and wood. I add an oil mixture to acrylic paint so its more supple and less likely to crack =)
