I have 2 peace dollars 1925, and 1934 awesome coin and auction.
Just wanted to let everyone here know that I just listed the remaining coins that I plan to list on Listia. If you want to check them out, just visit my profile. Thanks!
Sorry didn't realize Google gives local results so it could be a little more or less based on demand of your location. My location was Haddonfield, NJ in case anyone wants to verify.
was not an intentionally trying to lower bids you stated you did not know so did a google search and that is what I came up with if it caused any harm I DO APOLOGOZE AS WAS NOT MY INTENTION
I'm sorry I misunderstood you, but please look at this from my standpoint. Earlier a person above did a search as well and posted a value of $80 (which was the average of my google search). And even though it was not your intention it could very well hurt an auction when someone comments it's worth $80 & then someone else comments it's only worth $29. It's a big difference which COULD cause bidders/watchers to rethink their decision on how high to bid or to bid at all. It's all good though. I do appreciate you trying to help. :0)
And to be quite honest it really doesn't matter what something os worth here. $25 gift cards go for 3000 and up, yet an $80 makeup lot went for just 800 credits. It all depends on how many people really want something and if they have the cash to spend or if they'd rather get it for free. And even if something is expensive, it doesn't mean you will get what it's worth - example my diamond earrings that are up right now. Worth much more than my coin but still less than 1,000.
And if we are talking FACTS, the cheapest MY coin (same holder) is going for in Google shopping results is
Before you intentionally attempt to lower the bids on someones auction, you SHOULD at the very least GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. my coin is GRADED. The $29 is NOT. BIG difference.
You mean sell it? Sure! If you bid and win you can do whatever you like with it. I wouldn't open the case and spend it though. It would only buy you a dollar worth of stuff. :o)
Thanks! Actually some people are trying to get upwards of $150 for it on ebay. I say "trying" because they are buy it now auctions so it doesn't mean they'll sell for that. ;o)
I looked at the pictures and realized why you thought that. They look a little yellow because the light in the room was yellow. But the coin is silver. Its not plated or anything.
