Description
The listing, Play Station 2 - For Parts has ended.
This is my other PS2, for parts only, as the disc drawer refuses to open. We have pried the door of it off to get our disc out. It may work, but would need some repair to the disc part. Or for parts only. No controllers. Shipping is for USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation.
Questions & Comments
Wow, no fights people! This is all in fun and free. Either way, winner will get both, cause I don't feel like listing another one, and since they both fit, they both ship, resell if you wish, it would be yours. I do hope that the winning bidder would resell here on listia though, and not make a profit, but I really would have no say at that point. Yea, please don't fight, or I will take the listing down myself, and I REALLY don't want to do that. Play fair :)
You might even be able to eject this one once the tray is realigned to its track...not 100% sure (I've realigned my tray before, but not with a broken front piece).
Definitely not - was just trying to be helpful! The door as far as I know doesn't vary much from version to version, but you can run it without a door if you keep the lid off and take the magnet out/lay it over any disc you run.
Just like this one pretty much but the other broken one I received is just like this. I have a couple broken ones around the house and I am trying to get the pieces to put them together. I mean if you win great if I win great. I have a set amount I am ready to bid and if you beat that congrats and goodluck. I do not want any negative to come of this, and willow I do thank you for your great auction I hope you receive many credits.
Bull, what's wrong with yours? Make sure you check the SCPH number on the back of the console against whatever PS2 you wind up getting, most of the parts aren't compatible with each other even if they're the same model as far as fat/slim. The one we're bidding on is easy to fix without any additional parts, unless you want a new door.
It's ok, I understand. I know when I'm bidding on something on eBay and I get outbid, I really just wanna punch the other person, lol. Unfortunately, that's how auctions work. :( Bid high and bid often and you'll be rewarded ;)
Good thing that wasn't my real bid...Bull, I see you're buying in bulk...could you please leave this to me? I'm not reselling this or anything, my PS2s both broke and I couldn't fix the lasers, and I haven't been able to find a replacement in months.
Ooh. So, before this happened, did it have any issues reading any games? Was it tested with San Andreas or any other really demanding discs (Bully is another)?
No, before this happened it had no issues reading discs. The only games we played on it were FFXI and Monkey Balls (I don't know if that was it's real name, but that is what we called it, lol). But FFXI is a taxing game on a machine and it ran fine for that, but I just don't want to make any guarantees that it will work, just in case, ya know?
Is the tray broken off too, or is it just the little piece in the front? (For future reference, the door not opening is an easy fix if you take it apart - there's a little track it runs off and sometimes it manages to get off of it!)
