This is a genuine Lefton hand painted piece. There is one exactly like it on the "other" website right now and it's at $69.90 with 3 bids so far. Go look it up and see for yourself. Here's your chance to get the same piece for next to nothing! Bidding starts at zero and shipping is FREE too.

There are no cracks, no dings, no chips, etc. Even the flowers are all there and appear to be undamaged but it's hard to tell because they are so small and have irregular edges by design.

It measures about 4 3/4 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide and 1 5/8 inches deep.

It has blue and pink flowers on each of it's inwardly curved sides. There is a single cigarette rest at each of it's narrow ends. With it's gold trim perfectly highlighting it's light pink color, not to mention the PETITE raised flowers and ribbon, this is probably one of the more attractive ashtrays that we have seen - perfect for any ladies vanity or dresser top.

I have a large reference book that has china makers marks in it. I looked this one up and Lefton used it from 1950 to 1955. It is not marked 22k but during the research I did on this piece I learned that Lefton never used gold paint. It always had some measure of gold in it, usually 22k.

I will pack this with peanuts taped over the flowers for a safe trip.

Just lovely! Isn't it funny how what is now such a taboo habit has some of the nicest paraphenalia to go with it? Don't sweat your photos- you've got me beat as a photographer all day long! I consider any pic a success that does not have a bit of my thumb or finger in the shot!

I had planned on bidding over 30,000 credits on this but I have a new member that's not clicking the "got it" button nor responding and now I'm waiting 2 more weeks for my credits even though tracking shows it was clearly delivered

I know how that feels. I'm waiting on a refund from a member who doesn't exist anymore and I've asked Listia twice to give me my refund in their absense. I still haven't gotten it. It's not fair to either of us and I'm sorry you can't bid.
