Cow brains are now illegal to sell because of the mad cow disease, however pig brains are totally safe.

That is interesting. Now when I did the research it said that you can buy CALF brains but your right not adult cows.

According to the United States Food and drug administration web site I just checked there are "restrictions" but not a complete ban. I keep finding the phrase "30 months of age and older" for what is no longer allowed to be used.

But just to be err on the side of caution I shall adjust my listing. I am also only giving away the recipe and not the actual brains.
