I believe it allows you wireless access in conjunction with your own carrier so you have to have an active service, or someone nearby with the same signal... Hope this helps...

You aren't being a pest at all...I welcome questions...its part of the process...The company sent it to me as part of a promotion, so I ripped of part of the box for rebate, but it is in mint condition. I would have shipped early tomorrow but auction will be over after PO closes, so probably the Monday/Tuesday after. I will ship priority if you are willing to pay difference.
