This fashionable ring was advertised as 9kt Gold filled - (which in the US does not meet the gold expectation anyway) and as a genuine ruby. I have had many rubies pass through my hands and this ruby looks real and I haven't had the stone/"gold" tested but we all know what genuine gold and genuine ruby usually means when it comes from China at a low price- FAKE. Even so a lot of this jewelry is very stylish as well as good looking. The last picture is the stock photo and it looks just like that.

Just because this ring is COSTUME JEWELRY doesn't mean it's disqualified from a spot in your jewelry box. It is still fashionable and wearable:)

This ring is a size 7, the stone in it isn't that big- about the size of a pea. And is a nice raw ruby red. This isn't entirely new- I have worn it a few times. There is a light scratch on the side of the band but it is all just the same color underneath. It is in excellent shape and it is not dirty and there are absolutely no spots. There is a stamp on it- just a circlish like mark.
