They are thick paper.

what size are the templates?

They are 4.5" tall by 3.5" OVERALL with the punched out letters being approximately 4" tall (obviously letter width will vary).

do you think they would be good to use for letters for quilt squares & monograms?

Hmm...Well, I'm not a quilter so that's not an easy question for me to answer, but I'd say the size of them and the way the letters are so basic would make them easy to trace around and cut out, so yes, I would think so!

Thank you. i use fabric paints on some of my quilts, so these would be perfect for that & for some of the monogramming. i have bid on 7 different auctions, & have lost all of them.
