This is the kind of pen you can buy at reinactments and tourist shops. It's not actually from the time period when pens like this were used. It's in plastic and plastic wasn't used until the middle of the last century. I have one just like it (packaging and all) and I got it at the gift shop at Vicksburg for about $18. Still it's a very nice item and worth WAY more than the current bids. I hope it does well for you.
