yeah it is simple to do just use creatures with a high toughness or regenerate, then use Pestilence to keep the apponents creatures to a minimum. then just make sure you got the higher life total (preferably by 4+) and either flatten him with your creatures or knock him off with the Pest.

Also Revised was the set the Pestilence cards I had in my first pest deck came from, I miss that deck.
