The listing, New 5lb Stainless Steel Postal Scales has ended.

These are brand new, I've never used them. Its from stamps.com, so if you use that website, these are compatible with it, It plugs straight into the computer.

If you don't use stamps.com you can still use them but you will have to buy a usb cord that plugs into the wall. That cord is sold separately and I never bought it.

Watching, recently started to use stamps.com, hoping that it can help me save some money with shipping by avoiding the quess work. If I remember correctly, they wanted $39.99 for the scale, I chose to opt out on the scale, hoping I can find one on Listia.com. Good auction, if I have the credits I will bid.

This might be a dumb question, but does it take a certain usb cord or are all usb cords the same?

The usb cord that comes with it is just a normal one. I have seen different sized usb cords, but this is just a regular size cord with the bigger end plugging into the computer and the smaller end into the scales.

That's good to know about using the scale without Stamps.com...I can't afford them right now, even though they keep giving me free months when I try to cancel and now they told me about their $9.99 per month fee. I mostly use it to check postal prices when listing or using it for letters, which PayPal doesn't let you do.

I love mine, they're very handy if you mail a bunch of stuff. This is one of the three I have right now.
