I'm not sure what you mean. people have asked me if i take paypal. I am new to Listia and I don't know if there is some setting where i pick what types of payments i take...? I would accept a cashier's check or something like that.

I DO take paypal. I am new to Listia and haven't made my first sale yet so I don't know if there is somewhere I need to check a setting that says what payment options i do/don't take, but YES I will take paypal.

Megan Hon, when you post your auctions just tell everyone in the listing what type of payment you will except. They don't have a setting for our acceptable payment options as of yet.. All you have to do since you do take paypal is after auction give them your paypal email address. I also highly recommend getting a tracking number for everything you mail so both parties can keep an eye on it as it travels and you know exactly when it was delivered Hon,, Oh man I learned that the hard way! blessing and welcome aboard the addictive Lista train..

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!! i have not made my first sale yet, i think my first auctions end tomorrow so I am really learning and, i Love Listia so far but it's not been the easiest to learn these little intricacies. It's not quite as 'with it' as ETSY or some other sites. Thank you so much for the help!!!!!

Hi, since your new to this I thought I give you some tips I was given a few months ago as well since I was new not too long ago, but try offering free shipping on your items or at-least on the ones that are not as expensive to send. I was charging as well for shipping when I first started and I did okay with credits, but once I started to do free shipping; the better the bids got. Now I offer free shipping to everything I put on here. I know sometimes the money is not there for many and it comes to a point where you do have to charge, but just try it with the lower shipping ones and see how your bids go. BTW nice auction. I have been searching for leggings on here and thought these were so cute. A little big, but I think I can do some sewing on it to fix that. Good luck with Listia and Welcome!

hi, welcome to listia. great tips you have been given, wait till you get established before you take concealed cash or stamps. there is alot of people who will take you on here, never forget that. paypal and money oreders are great.

oh, big tip, always,always put delivery confirmation on it too, it will protect you and buyer. you can track the item on ups website and know for sure it was delivered, hope us old timers dont burn your mind up but it helps if you learn some basic things, not to say we old timers still dont get scammed but at least Listia will give buyers their credits back if scammed, paypal isnt that great on protecting buyers, yet..
