Vintage 1 1/2" tall plastic Topo Gigio figure with hand painted feature attached to a decent quality and still useable keychain. Topo Gigio was the lead character of a children's puppet show on Italian and Spanish television in the early 1960s. The puppet became famous when he became a regular on The Ed Sullivan Show in the Mid 1960s. In 1965, a feature length motion picture "The Adventures of Topo Gigio" was released internationally. These are not licensed, but are clearly Topo Gigio figures. Based on the age of the boxes we found them in, they are from the heyday in the mid 1960s. Unused old store stock we found at our favorite toy store. Great condition. Color may differ from the one shown.
