what is the lens mount? and is the lens clean and clear inside? any dust/debris/fungus/haze/marks of any kind....have to ask... And it says 52mm in description, is that the lens size or does it have a filter on it and that would then make the lens size 50mm, .... just trying to determine whether it will fit my camera , ihave a manual film camera with a cy mount, Thank you.
JCPeny lenses were sold with NIKON and CANON cameras from 72-84 and were almost all made by ProSpec,NIKON,and TOKINA depending on the camera they fit! I have the book for that lense it was made by ProSpec
Joshua14E - would you happen to know the lens mount? and if it is made by ProSpec, why does it say Minolta on the bottom? Just confused, and trying to make sure it will fit either one of my film cameras or looking at an older dslr on ebay ... so thats why im trying to figure out the lens mount and if it is a Good Lens, and then I can look on Ebay for the correct adapter. Thanks for any info anyone can provide, really. :)
I have researched the web but havent come up with the lens mount, other info, but nothing concrete. Perhaps if you could take a pic of the back of the lens, if you cant I understand. But is there anything on the bottom of the lens besides it saying Minolta, any symbols or letters/numbers, again any info is appreciated. thanks. :)
I took a pic of the part that fits to the camera. I said Minolta earlier because that what it says on the protective lens cover. Here is more info if it helps. CPC Phase 2 52mm Skylight (1A)
More than likely it fits a Nikon or Canonn, BUT yuou can get a converter that goes between the lens and camera to take lenses for just about any camera/lens combo ... most are between $40-$200 depending onn the camera and lens abilities, a lens adapter to a monolta maxum would prob be about $85-120 because of the abilities of the camera. it has to have the controls from the camera end converted to the lens hook up to control them (or) read the aperature, and focal length of the lens in a full manual lens.
