i got this from another listian when i misplaced mine.i have since found my original and no longer need this one. it take a few mins to acquire satellites but when it does it works good talks to you and is touchscreen.i don't know if it has lifetime updates or not but i didn't have to pay anything when i updated it. comes with a usb charger that you can use to link to your computer or use with a usb car charger or wall charger adapter.

no they work without one but it will be harder to see it.also i will see if i can find one locally that i can buy to include,if i can't you can find one on amazon or ebay but if i got one there i wound't get it before i would need to ship the gps out to the winner.

I bought one yesterday but would gladly return it. I just wasn't sure if it had to be mounted. I'd rather put it on seat next to me if it works.
