I see you are new to listia, don't let people talk you into free shipping. sometimes if the bidding doesn't go high enough you really end up paying for someone to take your item. If you do ask for shipping and the item goes for a really high price then you can always go back and mail it out for free if it is worth the credits you got. But 3.00 is very fair shipping. Because this will have to be mailed as a package. And if you are mailing it in the plastic case with the instruction manual it should weigh appx 5 oz. that will cost, for a first class package, $ 2.46. it should be ok to mail in a padded envelope but they will still charge package prices since it will be thicker than 3/4 of an inch. When I first started I found out the hard way it can start costing a lot more than you realize to send things out free. If you offer free shipping, you can't change that, but if you offer acctual shipping cost and it sells for more credits than you expected, you can always offer free or reduced shipping.... Good luck....The bidding usually starts going higher towards the end of the auction...
